Causeway Cruisers
Twice a week, before sunrise. Three pace groups, so there's always someone running your speed.

Who's running
RSVP is optional. Picking a group and distance ahead of time helps everyone know who they'll be running with.
Routes
Where we go
Wednesday loops
3 to 8 miles from the lot behind Milano Bean Cafe. Open a loop in Strava to load it on your watch.
Sunday out-and-back
Start at Captree State Park and head west on the greenway. Asphalt markers are painted for every distance, so turn at your number and come back. The prevailing wind is usually in your face on the way out and at your back on the way home.
Yellow squares = turnaround mile. Keep going past 6 for 12+.

FAQ
Do I have to RSVP?
No. Just show up. RSVPs are optional, but they help everyone see who's in each pace group and how far they're going.
What if I'm not sure which group to pick?
Go by your normal easy-day pace. Under 7:00 per mile is Fast, 7:00 to 8:30 is Steady, and 8:30 or slower is Easy. You can switch groups any week.
Where do we meet?
Wednesdays: the parking lot behind Milano Bean Cafe. Meet at 6:00, run starts 6:15. Sundays: Captree State Park. Meet at 6:15, run starts 6:30.
How far do we run?
Wednesday loops run 3 to 8 miles. Sunday is an out-and-back from 6 to 12+ miles. Turn around at the painted marker for your distance.
It's dark at 6:15. What should I wear?
For most of the year both runs start before sunrise. Wear a headlamp or something reflective, and a light layer for the wind on Sundays.
How is the coffee spot picked?
Members vote on this page during the week. Whichever spot has the most votes when the vote closes is where we go after Sunday's run.
